Our History

In 2012, Scott Young founded Scotts of Reading, bringing with him a wealth of industry expertise accumulated over three decades. Here is some of the milestones we’ve hit since then.

2012

Commenced operations with a team of three employees, specializing in the installation of windows, doors, and conservatories.

Guardian Partner

2015

Became an approved Guardian Roof installer.

Growth

2018

Voyaged into garden rooms and timber frame extensions, expanding our team to 11 members and acquiring five vans.

Pilot Scheme

2023

Started up the Guardian extension pilot scheme

Present Day

2023

Grew to 20+ employees, with an efficient office team and 10 vans, alongside a generous 5,000 sq ft workshop and office.
